Senior White House officials are warning North Korea that a resumption of missile and nuclear tests would be a "breach of trust." <br />Their remarks come after a senior North Korean official suggested late last week that the regime could restart testing after the recent Hanoi summit between the two sides ended with no agreement.<br />Kim Hyo-sun reports.<br /> <br />Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney says it would be (quote) "a breach of trust" if North Korea restarts nuclear testing.<br />Speaking with Fox News Sunday,... he added President Trump would not be best pleased. <br /><br />"I think he'd be very disappointed. He has a very good relationship with the chairman. I think they had an understanding that was not broken. The fact that we didn't get a deal in Vietnam doesn't mean that the relationship was in peril, it just means there was no deal to be had at that time." <br /><br />Mulvaney also stressed that dialogue should continue between the two leaders,... explaining the North's nuclear issue is very complex and requires time. <br />U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton warned North Korea,... saying its latest statement that the regime is thinking of going back to nuclear and missile testing is (quote) "not a good idea." <br />This comes as North Korea's vice foreign minister Choe Son-hui blamed Washington last Friday for the no-deal second summit in Hanoi. <br /><br />"The United States showed no sincerity toward improving DPRK-U.S. relations or fulfilling the joint statement the two countries signed in Singapore. Instead, it intended to use the second meeting to serve its political purposes." <br /><br />According to The Hill,... an American political newspaper,...
