The South Korean government has again teamed up with NASA to try and find a concrete reason for the high levels of fine dust that have blanketed Korea recently.<br />Their first joint research took place in 2016, using planes to observe fine dust concentrations, and this second one will take place in 2021 using satellite observation.<br />The government hopes that once the U.S. verifies the cause of fine dust pollution, the conflicts over fine dust arriving from other countries such as China will be resolved.<br />South Korea has been claiming that China is responsible for some of the pollutants that affect the Korean Peninsula. <br />
