A young Cuvier's beaked whale that washed up in the Philippines on Saturday died from “gastric shock” after ingesting 40kg of plastic bags.<br /><br />Marine biologists from the D’Bone Collector Museum Inc recovered 16 rice sacks, four banana plantation style bags and multiple shopping bags from the whale’s stomach.
