Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President<br />at CBS Entertainment, believes Corden<br />is an excellent choice for the event. Jack Sussman, via statement Corden previously hosted the 70th Annual<br />Tony Awards in 2016, which had the<br />largest audience in 15 years. He also won the Emmy award for<br />outstanding special class program<br />for his work on the 2016 Tony Awards. James Corden, via statement Corden is currently the host<br />of ‘The Late Late Show’ on CBS. He’s no stranger to musical theater either,<br />having won a Tony Award in 2012 for his<br />performance in ‘One Man. Two Guvnors.’ The 2019 Tony Awards will be<br />broadcast live on Sunday, June 9,<br />from the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
