The UN's food agency says.... it needs 9-point-1 million U.S. dollars to carry out food assistance programs in North Korea for the next six months.<br />The organization's monthly report on North Korea says... the World Food Programme plans to spend.... 28-point-4 million dollars in total,... but already has 19-point-3 million dollars left from last year.<br />The report added.... that international sanctions are taking their toll on the programs,... making it difficult for distributing necessary items.<br />The WFP says.... it has provided 1-thousand-5-hundred tons of food to 46-thousand people in the North in February.<br />The body has been carrying out nutrition programs for children and pregnant women in the North since 1995. <br />
