문대통령 "물 기업의 세계시장 진출을 전략적으로 지원할 것"<br /><br />Today is World Water Day, an international observance highlighting the importance of sustainable water resources.<br />President Moon Jae-in attended a ceremony to mark the occasion in Daegu<br />He highlighted the rapid growth of the water industry, driven by the fourth industrial revolution,... and vowed to spare no effort in supporting companies with promising technologies.<br />"At present, the global water market is worth over 700 billion dollars and is expected to see average yearly growth of 4 percent until 2022. The government will strategically support companies with competitive technology so that they can enter the global market."<br />The South Korean leader also stressed the importance of tackling the growing dangers of climate change and natural disasters.<br />He said the government will work to ensure a stable water supply by strengthening dams and drainage,... as well as funding rural areas so they can maintain their water supply systems.
