Mueller Delivers His Report on
Russia to the Attorney General By delivering his report to William Barr,
the special counsel is signaling that
his investigation is complete. Robert Mueller and his
team have been investigating
possible collusion between
the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 Presidential election. In a letter to Congress Friday
afternoon, Barr told lawmakers
he may be able to "advise" them "of the counsel’s
principal conclusions as
soon as this weekend." Barr also wrote that he
remains "committed to
as much transparency as possible." Beginning in May of 2017,
Mueller's investigation
has lasted almost two years. So far the investigation
has led to the indictment or
conviction of six former Trump aides, most notably
former Trump campaign
chairman, Paul Manafort. The House of Representatives
voted unanimously to
make the report public. President Donald Trump also
commented on making the report public. President Trump, via 'NYT'
