he latest data released by the South Korean government shows... that Korea had the 74th highest concentration of fine dust out of 184 countries in 2017.<br />According to Korea's trade ministry on Sunday, the average level of particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, or PM 2.5, was 25-point-1 micrograms per cubic meter in 2017.<br />China's figure stood at 53-point-5...and the United States at 7-point-4. <br />The ministry added that the government aims to decommission 10 old coal-fired power plants by 2022...to help deal with the country's chronic fine dust pollution. <br />
