A fire broke out at a construction site in Southampton city centre earlier today (March 26).<br /><br />Footage shows flames engulfing the building site as smoke rises up into the air.<br /><br />According to local reports, around 50 firefighters are at the scene battling the blaze on St Mary's Street.<br /><br />Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have advised people to avoid the area and keep their windows closed.
