McDonald's to Customize<br />Drive-Through Windows<br />With Artificial Intelligence McDonald’s has purchased<br />Dynamic Yield Ltd., an Israeli<br />artificial intelligence company. The deal reportedly cost<br />more than $300 million. In a press release, McDonald’s said<br />it planned to use Dynamic Yield’s<br />technology to enhance and<br />personalize the drive-through experience. Steve Easterbrook, McDonald’s Corporation President, via statement Drive-through windows will<br />change in real-time based on<br />the time of day, weather and<br />trending menu items. It will also instantly suggest<br />and display items based on<br />what the customer is ordering. Their mobile app and<br />self-ordering kiosks will<br />also receive a digital makeover. McDonald’s plans to introduce<br />this technology in the U.S. in 2019<br />and expand internationally at a later date.
