A senior lecturer and a contractor pleaded not guilty at the Alor Setar Sessions Court on Wednesday to 39 charges of corruption and abuse of power involving RM1.97 million.<br /><br />According to the charges, they committed the offence between 2013 to 2015 for misappropriation of funds for the Universiti Utara Malaysia Industry Centre of Excellence.
