NFL WR Jordy Nelson <br />Announces His Retirement The 33-year-old wideout steps away from the game after an 11-year career. Earlier this month, Nelson was <br />cut by the Raiders, who he played <br />with in his last season. Nelson began his career in 2008 after being picked in the second round <br />of the NFL Draft. The Kansas State product went <br />on to become one of Green Bay's <br />most recognizable receivers. In 2011, the Pro Bowler won his<br />only Super Bowl with the Packers. With 1,519 receiving yards, Nelson also broke the <br />team record in 2014 for the most in a single season. Nelson accumulated 613 receptions in his career, 72 of which were for touchdowns. He also amassed <br />8,587 total receiving yards <br />over 151 games played.
