PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has urged for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be given time to decide on the position of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairperson.<br /><br />He said "we understood the issue but we should give time because the prime minister is still in Langkawi and there needs to be a discussion amongst Pakatan Harapan."<br /><br />Mahathir had said he will consider returning the PAC chairperson post to the opposition following pressure from Pakatan Harapan MPs, who said it was their electoral promise to do so.
