South Korea's National Assembly will hold a plenary session this afternoon to vote on 16 non-contested bills.<br />It's technically the first full parliament session of 2019 that will be used to vote on bills.<br />Among the bills,... is a proposal that seeks to promote so-called "blind recruitment" -- to ensure a fair hiring process.<br />It calls for fines on workplaces that ask an applicant to provide personal details on their resume,... such as their weight, height, or family members' wealth, job or academic background.<br />Another bill, if passed,... would allow exclusive one-to-one probation for offenders that committed sex offenses against minors.<br />The National Assembly has one more plenary session scheduled before the March parliamentary session comes to a close. <br /><br />
