제3 인터넷은행에 3곳 출사표…키움 vs 토스 2파전 압축<br /><br />The Korean government is considering two applications from companies that want to start new internet-only banks.<br />Those companies are Kiwoom Securities... and Viva Republica, the company that made a mobile money transfer app called Toss.<br />They submitted their applications this week.<br />If they're approved they'll launch the banks next year.<br />Korea currently has two internet-only banks -- K-Bank and Kakao Bank, both of which were started in 2017.<br />The financial authorities have said they might approve only one or both of them, but the final decision will be come out in May.
