'조두순법' 국회 본회의 통과…비쟁점법안 16건 처리<br /><br />South Korea's National Assembly passed 16 non-contested bills during a plenary session earlier this afternoon.<br />It was technically the first full parliament session of 2019 in which bills were voted on.<br />Among the bills passed... is one that will promote so-called "blind recruitment" -- to ensure a fair hiring process.<br />Companies will be fined if they ask job applicants to put personal details on their resume,... such as their weight, height, or their relatives' wealth, jobs or academic background.<br />Another bill passed will allow the appointment of dedicated probation officers... for offenders who committed sex offenses against minors.<br />The National Assembly has one more plenary session scheduled before the March parliamentary session comes to a close.
