The CEO of Asiana Airlines is stepping down from his key managerial posts to take responsibility for the fiasco over the company's 2018 financial statements.<br />The airline's parent company, Kumho Asiana Group, said Park Sam-koo also resigned as CEO of Kumho Industrial, the company's top shareholder.<br />Asiana had to revise its financial statements for last year, which were approved Tuesday by its auditor, Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers, showing a bigger loss than before. <br />Until it hires a new outside manager, Kumho Asiana Group will be under an emergency management committee led by its vice chairman. <br />
