We may now have clearer answers as to why the North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi fell apart.<br />A report has emerged that President Trump had passed a note to Kim Jong-un... that contained sweeping demands on denuclearization.<br />Lee Min-sun reports. <br /> At the Hanoi summit,... President Trump reportedly demanded a full dismantling of North Korea's nuclear infrastructure and the transfer of all nuclear weapons and fissile materials to the United States.<br />This according to Reuters,... which says it acquired a note that was handed from Trump to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. <br />The document also included demands... that the North dismantle its chemical and biological warfare program... as well as its ballistic missiles, launchers and associated facilities.<br /><br /> Citing an unnamed source, Reuters said the document was handed to Kim Jong-un on February 28th... both in English and Korean. <br />The existence of the note was first mentioned by U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton following the summit.<br />But the report revealed for the first time... that Trump had specified exactly what he wanted in terms of denuclearization... and made explicit demands.<br /><br /> The document outlined four key demands in regards to denuclearization which include,... that the North provide a comprehensive inventory of its nuclear program,... allow full access to U.S. and international inspectors,... and halt all related activities and construction of new facilities.<br /><br /> The document appears to reflect Bolton's hardline approach of pursuing a "Libya model" of denuclearization,... which North Korea has rejected over the years. <br /><br />Lee Min-sun, Arirang News. <br />
