A high-ranking South Korean official is in Washington for talks with U.S. officials ahead of the next summit between Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump<br />That's the second deputy chief of Seoul's National Security Office, Kim Hyun-chong.<br />And he says... it's important that diplomacy between North Korea and the U.S.... continues to be conducted by their leaders.<br />Kim was speaking to reporters as he arrived at the airport in Washington on Saturday.<br />He said that the peace-building process so far has been conducted through this so-called "top down" approach.<br />The talks should continue, he said, and South Korea should be included.<br />Kim is expected to meet with his counterparts on Monday to discuss the Moon-Trump summit set for April 11th. <br />
