S. Korea's acceptance of sexual minorities, homosexuality well below OECD average: report

A recent OECD report shows that Korea has a low acceptance of homosexuality.<br />Korea scored two-point-eight on a scale of one to ten.... for accepting sexual minorities like homosexuality... ranking 32nd out of 36 OECD countries. <br />Only Turkey, Lithuania, and Latvia ranked below Korea. <br />The OECD report, which covers the 2001-to-2014 period,.... shows an improvement from the 1981 to 2000 report,.... but Korea still is far below the OECD average of five-point-one. <br />The report raises concerns about discrimination against sexual minorities. <br />Japan scored four-point-eight and the U.S. scored five… while Iceland ranked highest with a score of eight-point-three. <br />
