A controlled burn-off was set in Florida to help prevent future forest fires that might occur in the south and southwest of the state.<br /><br />The footage, filmed by Konstantin Petrenko on March 22, shows his drive up the Tamiami Trail, between Miami and Naples, covered in smoke while the fields burned.<br /><br />Petrenko commented: “The scale of the fire seemed to be enormous as you can see by all the smoke coming off of it, I was able to see it for at least 5 miles.”
