European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker insists there will be no short Brexit extension unless the withdrawal deal is passed within the next nine days.<br />His comments on Wednesday come less than 24 hours since British Prime Minister Theresa May announced her new strategy that requested for an extension of Article 50 to May 22nd.<br />Speaking to the European parliament, Juncker set an "ultimate deadline" of April 12th for the Commons to approve the withdrawal agreement.<br />Juncker spoke to EU lawmakers on the same day that May's Conservatives attacked her plan,... and her offfer to hold talks on a softer departure from the EU with opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn. <br />
