The government is not ruling out the possibility of selling more assets – including land – to keep national debt at a manageable level.<br /><br />Speaking to reporters at the Parliament lobby on Thursday, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said <br />aside from the sale of the superyacht Equanimity to Genting Malaysia Bhd for US$126mil, any future sale of government assets would be to Malaysians.<br /><br />He added that the government had recovered money that was lost from Singapore, but did not reveal any details.
