An endangered whale shark washed up dead on a shore in Southern India on Thursday.<br /><br />The footage filmed in Thoothukudi shows the 20-foot long fish being pulled onto the shore by the fishermen who found it.<br /><br />They later informed officers of the Tamilnadu Government Fisheries Department. <br /><br />An investigation is now ongoing. <br /><br />Whale sharks are the world's biggest fish and are listed by the IUCN as "endangered."
