The National Assembly's education committee unanimously adopted a resolution urging Tokyo to correct its textbooks describing Dokdo as Japanese territory.<br />Rival party lawmakers expressed regret over the approval of an elementary school textbook claiming ownership of Korea's easternmost islets, and demanded the decision be withdrawn.<br />They called on Japan to stop trying to infringe on Korea's territorial sovereignty, and vowed stern action against it.<br />The resolution will be sent to the Tokyo's education ministry, as well as the foreign and education ministries in Seoul. <br />
