I don't know what to do about the house. I didn't get to bring anything, not even rice to cook a meal. I just put my clothes on and fled."
"Of course, I can't sleep. How can I when I'm worried like this? I'm only lying down when my back hurts."
Residents of towns where the fire has already been put out have been able to return home.
But those remaining at the shelter are constantly checking their smartphones to get the latest on the situation.
Due to strong winds, it's going to take some time for the fire to be completely extinguished.
And with the cold weather, residents are in need of daily necessities,... especially as it's still unclear when they'll be able to return home.
Park Hee-jun, Arirang News.
