Election Commission (SPR) chairman Azhar Azizan Harun has announced that the by-election for the vacant Sandakan parliamentary seat in Sabah is set for May 11.<br /><br />The Election Commission also fixed the date for nomination to be held on April 27, whilst early voting is on May 7.<br /><br />The seat became vacant following the death of Sandakan Member of Parliament Datuk Wong Tien Fatt on March 28.<br /><br />Read more at https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2019/04/05/sandakan-by-election-falls-on-may-11/
