By comparison, $11 per hour is what rival chain Walmart pays its entry-level employees. The increases come after Target<br />reported strong sales from the<br />past holiday season. CEO Brian Cornell, via statement The retailer, which is based <br />in Minnesota, has over <br />1,800 U.S. locations. It currently has a workforce of over 300,000, <br />which is in the top 5 among retail chains.
