The UN Security Council and the G7 group of rich countries have condemned military action in Libya... by rebel forces advancing on the capital.<br />Those forces are led by Khalifa Haftar, whose so-called Libyan National Army is tied to a parallel government in the east of the country.<br /> Disputed reports say the LNA has advanced as far as the Tripoli airport.<br />The Security Council and the G7 issued similar statements on Friday calling on all sides to halt all military activity.<br />Just hours earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres had left Libya after talks with the LNA leader Haftar,... saying he was deeply concerned.<br />Haftar had reportedly told Guterres he would not stop until he had defeated "terrorism." <br />
