문 대통령, 오늘 김연철•박영선 장관 임명 강행<br /><br />President Moon Jae-in has gone ahead and appointed five new ministers to his Cabinet... over the objections of the opposition parties.<br />The Presidential office says that Moon appointed five ministers -- including those of unification, interior and safety, and SMEs.<br />Those appointees are Kim Yeon-chul for unification,... ruling party lawmaker Park Young-sun for SMEs and startups -- another lawmaker Chin Young for the interior ministry, Park Yang-woo for culture... and Moon Seong-hyeok for the oceans ministry.<br />There had been two other nominees... but their nominations were scuttled because of ethics questions.<br />The opposition parties objected to some of the ministers the president has appointed too... over their qualifications... but those objections are not binding. <br />
