In an effort to implement UN sanctions on North Korea, Moscow is reporting that it has slashed -- by a third -- the number of North Koreans working in Russia. <br />In its implementation report of Resolution 23-97, that was uploaded on the UN Security Council's website recently,... Russia says the number of North Koreans with valid work permits in Russia was just eleven-and-a-half-thousand at the end of 2018,... down from 30-thousand at the end of 2017. <br />The resolution, adopted in late 2017 following a North Korean missile launch,... compels member states to return all North Korean laborers working within their borders within two years,... that is by the end of this year. <br />Germany also submitted its implementation report.<br />It said out of 862 North Korean nationals in Germany as of the end of 2018, 46 are obligated to leave, while the rest have legal residency. <br />
