The national food bank initiative has been launched at University Malaya and five other universities in an effort to help students from poor families.<br /><br />Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said surplus food from supermarkets will be distributed among university students.
