A Japanese F-35A stealth fighter has gone missing over the Pacific Ocean,... while it was on a training flight with three other F-35As.<br />Japanese broadcaster NHK reports that contact was lost on Tuesday evening,... while the jet was about 135 kilometers off the east coast of Aomori Prefecture.<br />Japan's Defense Ministry says the pilot is also missing, and a search is underway.<br />If a crash is confirmed, it would be the second time an F-35 has been lost to an accident after a U.S. Marine (core) Corps F-35B crashed in South Carolina last September.<br />Last month, the South Korean Air Force received two of the F35-A jets,.... joining the ranks of Asia's few radar-evading warplane operators. <br />
