Rosmah Mansor has claimed trial to a new charge in the RM5 million bribery case involving solar hybrid power projects in Sarawak.<br /><br />The wife of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak is accused of receiving RM5 million from Saidi Abang Samsudin, managing director of Jepak Holdings, via her aide Rizal Mansor.<br /><br />Jepak Holdings had obtained a RM1.25 billion contract from the Education Ministry through direct negotiation.<br /><br />Rosmah claimed trial to the charge under Section 16(a)(A) of the MACC Act 2009.
