Winter sport lovers in Belarus are welcoming spring by putting on fancy costumes and diving into icy cold waters.<br />It was the ninth time the festival "Californication" was held in a town east of country's capital, Minsk.<br />This event takes place at the end of each winter with participants saying good-bye to the ski slopes they will not be able to enjoy riding again until the next winter.<br />Their last ride of the season is even scored in several categories such as best costume, best trick, and longest swim. <br /><br />
