A commemoration will be held in Seoul today to mark the 100th anniversary since the establishment of Korea's provisional government... back when Imperial Japan ruled the Peninsula with an iron fist.<br />On April 11th in 1919,... the government-in-exile was launched in Shanghai.<br />Today's event will take place in Yeouido in western Seoul, at 19:19,... or 7:19 PM Korea time -- to highlight the year the provisional government was launched.<br />Thousands of people are expected to attend,... including government officials,... former independence fighters,... and politicians.<br />A similar event will also be held tonight in Shanghai, China,... which will be attended by some South Korean political leaders as well. <br />
