A cocker spaniel was filmed learning to surf the waves alongside his owner in central Japan.<br /><br />The clip, filmed March 26 in Kanazawa, shows the seven-year-old Coda standing confidently on the surfboard with his owner, getting ready to ride the wave when it comes. <br /><br />Coda’s owner told Newsflare: “It’s essential for the dogs to be comfortable on the board - if you are stressed they will be stressed. It's about trust with the sea and dogs, you must always put the dog first and the sport after.”
