임시정부 100주년 기념식 '국민참여형' 축제로 여의도공원서 개최<br /><br /> Back here in the nation.<br />An an event to mark the historic anniversary was held in Yeouido.<br /> The event's venue was near where... an advance group of a military arm of Korea's provisional government landed at exactly 7:19 PM local time back in 1945... the same year the country gained independence from Japan's 35-year-long colonial rule.<br />The event was held to honor the provisional government who fought for liberation from imperial Japan.<br />Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon gave a commemorative speech during the event... underscoring the need to make the country walk the path envisioned by the provisional government.<br /> "We have to make efforts to make the country better. We can't stop improving. We have to work towards making a peaceful and prosperous Korean peninsula... by overcoming the division of the two Koreas with the cooperation of the international community." <br />
