In Poland, a robot is helping sick children visit zoo animals from their hospital beds.
Leo, the robot volunteer, walks around the zoo showing a livestream of the animals.
This robot can even access areas which are generally off-limits to visitors, allowing sick children to see zoo life 'behind the scenes'.
Psychologists say access to live animals, even just via a screen, helps young patients to deal with the inconveniences and boredom of being stuck in the hospital.
The Don Vittorio Foundation for Wild Animals that owns the robot plans to purchase 20 more to expand cooperation between hospitals and zoos.
