In Thailand, elephants have water fights with people to welcome the New Year that is celebrated in April in the Southeast Asian country.<br />Elephants painted with colorful flowers from trunk to toe slurp up water and spray children and adults, cooling them off from the heat.<br />This water festival Songkran is often referred to as the world's biggest water fight and it is loved by tourists as well.<br />Other Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia celebrate Songkran as well.<br />The water festival always takes place between April 13th to the 15th in Thailand.<br />
