Korea's Trade Ministry has unveiled new measures to boost exports from local semiconductor firms.<br /> During a meeting Monday with representatives from related organizations and companies, Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee said the government will help local semiconductor designing and production companies find potential clients abroad. <br />Although the specifics haven't been given yet, the ministry did say it would hold three trade fairs this year in China, Thailand and Korea.<br />The government also plans to support research and development in the field of system-on-chips, used in AI and IoT products,... to boost competitiveness in the overall industry. <br />
