A rider emerged unscathed after his ox cart flew into air and flipped over during a village race.<br /><br />The man was thrown to the ground, but he sprung back to his feet and tried to control the animals, which were also unhurt. <br /><br />The incident occurred at a village near Arakalavadi in the Hassan district of southern India's Karnataka state on April 13. <br /><br />“The animals got scared by the noise of the crowd and went out of control. Luckily no one was hurt,” said Lokesh Gowda, a local resident.
