'동상이몽' 미•일 무역협상 시작…입장차 커 난항 예상<br /><br />Trade talks between the U.S. and Japan are expected to begin in Washington on Monday local time. <br />Japanese news outlets are reporting that the upcoming meeting will focus on setting the scope and target of negotiations. <br />U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer will lead the talks with Japan's Economic Revitalization Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.<br />Japan is expected to push for talks focused on trade in goods...whereas the U.S. is hoping for a more comprehensive discussion. <br />President Donald Trump has complained about Japan's trade surplus of 69-billion dollars with Washington, nearly two-thirds of which comes from auto exports. <br />
