Largest Plane on Earth <br />Takes Flight in California The aircraft, which took off from <br />Mojave Air & Space Port, is the <br />widest plane on earth at 385 feet. The plane flew for over two hours, <br />reaching an altitude of 15,000 feet. According to CNN, launching satellites <br />via planes is much cheaper than <br />standard trips with rockets.
