In the days after the Sewol-ho ferry sinking,... the former government designated April 16th as National Safety Day... to learn lessons from the disaster and make a safer country.<br />And marking the fifth anniversary of the deadly sinking.... and National Safety Day..., a government-led event was held this morning at the government complex in Sejong City.<br />Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon gave a speech remembering the 3-hundred-4 people killed in the disaster. <br />Some 3-hundred government officials,.... members of civic groups and citizens attended the event.<br />They pledged to ensure safety in schools, workplaces and transportation in Korea. <br />
