The trial against former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak and 1MDB ex-president Arul Kanda Kandasamy over the alleged tampering of the state fund's audit report will commence in November.<br /><br />The Kuala Lumpur High Court fixed the joint trial to take place from Nov 18 to Nov 29, as well as from Jan 13 to Jan 17 next year.<br /><br />High Court judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan made the ruling this morning after both counsels of the accused agreed to have a joint trial.<br /><br />N Sivananthan appeared for Arul, while Najib was represented by Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.<br /><br />Both Arul and Najib were present before the latter proceeded to another court for the criminal trial involving SRC International Sdn Bhd.
