Lee said the government respond to those changes by encouraging the development of new drugs, medical devices, and regenerative medicine.<br />The government aims to increase life expectancy to 75 years by 2023, and Lee acknowledged that medical technology are in line with that goal.<br />But, he said, it must also work to prevent healthcare inequality.<br />Bio Korea is a huge event for the industry.<br />Running through this Friday, around 25-thousand professionals from 50 countries are expected to participate. <br />
