홍남기 "건강기능식품, 대형마트•백화점 자유판매 허용" "글로벌 플랜트 펀드 3조원 조성…400억 달러 해외수주 효과”<br /><br />South Korea's Finance Minister has announced several measures to help boost the struggling economy, ranging from health foods to nuclear power.<br />First of all, big supermarkets and department stores will be permitted to sell so-called "health functional foods" -- like supplements that come in pill form.<br />Hong was speaking Wednesday at a meeting of economy-related ministers. <br />He also said the government will help develop the country's nuclear-decommissioning industry... and win contracts to safely shut down nuclear facilities around the world.<br />The trade ministry says it will leverage Korea's know-how and technology from its own nuclear phase-out process and win 10 percent of the decommissioning market by 2035.<br />It's an industry estimated to be worth almost half a trillion dollars.<br /> Construction companies will get help with their exports too.<br />The government will create a fund worth 2-point-6 billion dollars... to help them win orders overseas.<br />
