Donald Trump Vetoes<br />Yemen War Resolution President Trump issued the second<br />veto of his presidency on April 17. The veto stopped a congressional<br />resolution that sought to end<br />U.S. involvement in the Yemen war. Trump said the resolution was<br />“unnecessary,” as there are no<br />U.S. military personnel in Yemen <br />"aiding the Saudi‑led coalition." He believes the resolution<br />was only made as a rebuke<br />of his Middle East policies.
