North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reportedly supervised the test-fire of a new tactical weapon on Wednesday.<br />The state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Thursday on Kim's activities,... but did not provide details on the weapon itself. <br />Kim reportedly said the completion of the weapon system is important in increasing the combat power of the North Korean Army, adding it's good that such research is actively underway. <br />This is the first time in five months that Kim has supervised the test of a new tactical weapon developed by the regime. <br />Pundits say it could be a sign the North is strengthening its security and defense system amid concerns about its nuclear standoff with the U.S. <br /><br />
